DASI Simulations Awarded Technology Validation and Start-Up Grant
Columbus, Ohio — February 2, 2022 — DASI Simulations has been honored with one of just six grant from The Ohio Third Frontier Technology Validation and Start-up Fund. This prestigious fund provides grants to Ohio companies to help them advance, raise funds, and get innovative medical technologies to the marketplace faster.
DASI Simulations was founded in 2019 by Teri Sirset and Dr. Lakshmi Prasad Dasi, who is currently a Professor at Georgia Tech and Emory University. The two first met at the TCT conference in San Diego. At the time, Teri was working with silicon vessel modeling technology; Dr. Dasi was working as a professor of biomedical engineering and surgery at The Ohio State University. Teri’s silicon vessels of the heart and aortic system in tandem with Dr. Dasi’s technology was a perfect match with a real future for computational AI-based imaging for structural heart disease patients.
